Bye, Bye Texas.....Hello Minnesota

We wanted to let everyone know that we are safe and sound in our "tree house." We are staying on the third floor of a furnished apartment in Woodbury. Leia is just starting to get used to everything here. She really enjoys running up and down the halls outside our front door. We have a little hike to get from our car to the apartment, so Leia thinks that every time we leave the house we are "going for a walk." Our cars were delivered this morning, so Leia and I will have to go exploring here in a little while. The weather here is gorgeous and all the leaves on the trees are changing.
Thank you to everyone who have been praying for us. We have literally "felt" the peace that passes all understanding over the last couple of days. We both still tear up when we think about our family and friends who we left behind. Our hearts ache for the fellowship of the local body of Christ in McKinney, but we are learning more and more about God's faithfulness each day. We can see already how the Lord is going to use our weaknesses to bring glory to Himself as He displays Himself to alone be our strength. Please continue in prayer with us as we seek God's will in finding a new church body to worship with, and a home to live in. We know that He is in control and we are resting in His perfect timing. Talk to you all soon! ~Renee

  1. I've been praying for you and Caleb to find the neighborhood and church where the Lord will rejoice to use your gifts to strengthen the body of believers that He graces you with and to reach those He's calling to Himself.
I'm so grateful that you are early enough in the Fall to enjoy the magnificence of changing leaves (before the trees are bare) and that the weather is at least mild for a few days before the freeze.
It has been GORGEOUSLY warm and pleasant for the past week in Chicago and we are soaking it up.
    Love to all. Aunt Janet

  2. Renee, our hearts hurt that y'all are gone!! I regret all the times I could of stopped by your house. I drove by today and was so sad you weren't there. So weird.
The Lord loves nothing more than spreading his Love and that's exactly what you will do in Minnesota.
When you told me you were leaving I couldn't be too sad because I'm so excited for all the lives y'all are going to touch. How amazing!!! We love you so much and can't wait to hear about all the memories y'all are making.
